According to National Crime Records Bureau, every hour there are 4 child abuse cases in India. So to sensitise children about pressing gender/sexual abuse issues Ek Pahel time and again, conduct workshops and engage in dialogue and discussions with children on comprehensive sexuality education. Ms. Meghna Middha and Ms. Pallavi Mahajan from Azaad Initiative collaborated with 'Ek Pahel' to conduct a workshop on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), focussing on Good Touch, Bad Touch and Menstrual Hygiene for 70 girls from Grade II to Grade IX. They talked about related topics including human anatomy to nullifying menstrual myths; from victim shame to advocating menstrual science; from initiating talks on rehabilitation of feelings after a ‘bad touch’ and encourage the children to say a loud and clear ‘NO’.
